Tired of changing mud pump pistons? We have your solution. The TD will work in all types of drilling mud including oil based, synthetic and water based. It was specifically designed to work in applications where water based mud is used or in situations where WBM is used on the top side & OBM is used on the bottom end. This eliminates the need for changing the piston midway through the drilling program. The “TD” or “Total Depth” name reflects our commitment to make a single piston that will last from “spud” to “TD”. This piston has been engineered with a unique friction reducing material bonded into the urethane of the sealing lip. Because the TD is built to withstand friction in the liner, wear on your parts is minimized and savings is maximized. The Patriot™ TD is also designed to meet pressures of 7500 psi as well as temperatures up to 240F.

The CALIBER® X300 is a high performance urethane bonded piston designed for high pressure and high temperature applications. The higher durometer chemistry of this piston enables the piston to make a consistent and reliable seal in extreme conditions and temperatures up to 300°F eliminating the threat of extrusion. The Caliber® X350 piston is a urethane bonded piston designed to operate in water based mud and withstand pressures up to 7500 psi and temperatures up to 220°F. It uses a unique friction- reducing material bonded into the urethane of the sealing lip. The Caliber X350 is built to withstand friction in the liner, minimizing wear on your parts while maximizing savings.
The Caliber® X400 Ultra-High Temperature Piston is a urethane bonded piston designed to withstand pressures up to 7500 psi and extreme temperatures up to 400°F. The Caliber® X450 Extreme Service Piston is a urethane bonded flex-lip piston designed to perform in the harshest of drilling conditions. It is suitable for every application and mud type and will withstand operating temperatures up to 300°F and pressures up to 7500 psi. Superior design and ultra-durable high temperature urethane allow the Caliber® X450 to outperform all other “high temperature/extreme service” mud pump pistons on the market.
The Caliber® X500 is a high performance rubber bonded piston designed for a variety of drilling fluids (oil based mud, water based mud, brine). Caliber® X500 pistons work particularly well in brine and water based mud applications. The proprietary rubber compound has excellent chemical, heat and abrasion resistance, and is engineered to withstand a variety of mud compounds and chemical additives.
The Caliber® X200 Piston* uses the same high quality urethane bonding process as our higher range pistons but offers better value when running in normal drilling conditions. It is designed for temperatures up to 220°F and pressures up to 7,500 psi in oil based mud.

The Nitrile Rubber piston was designed with a replaceable rubber Flex-Lip seal for high performance with water-based muds. The seal can be easily replaced in the field for a quick and economical drilling solution.
The Nitrile Rubber Bonded piston was designed for use with water-based muds. It is particularly suited for situations where a driller needs to get extra life from a liner that is already worn to a larger ID.
